In this project we were tasked with upgrading our mobile on-boarding experience. After extensive research and prototypes we decided to go with subtle animations that will illustrate to the user how MDLIVE can improve their daily lives. Animations would change on swipes continuing the story like an interactive comic book enticing the user to follow it and learn about MDLIVE. We started with sketching out the styles for the illustrations and story-boarding. Once final illustrations were finished, we begun animating it in Principle (animation software we had on hand). That allowed us to deliver the proper vector-based animation specs to the developers.
